Arunachal Pradesh, the largest state (in terms of area) of the north-eastern region is a land of numerous tribes with a distinct and fascinating culture. It is a thinly populated hilly tract lying on the north-east extremity . The diversity of ethnic groups, languages and religion is seen all over the state. The state has 26 tribes identified by the Indian government. But the actual number of languages spoken in Arunachal Pradesh is much greater. Arunachal Pradesh is known for its rich flora,fauna, power and mineral potential. The first FMA presence in Arunachal Pradesh came into existence at Kheti in 1998. Today they extend their services through 4 centres.
