March 3, 2025: A Befitting Welcome with Cultural Splendour
The day began with Sr. Gothorp Mabel, Provincial and the provincial councillors receiving Sr. Celine at the airport. The air buzzed with joy as the Sisters eagerly anticipated the arrival of their esteemed guest.

On reaching (the) Auxilium, Provincial House, Christian Basti, Sr. Celine was greeted in the traditional Assamese style. She was presented with a zapi (head gear), bouquet of flowers and a gamucha, symbolic of warmth and respect.

The Juniorate Sisters graced the occasion with a soulful welcome song and an elegant dance performance based on the theme “Do whatever He Tells You.” Their movements and melodies beautifully reflected the spirit of faith, unity, and joy.

A solemn moment of reflection followed in the Chapel, where Sr. Kaniyampady Molly Elizabeth, Superior of the Provincial House extended a heartfelt introduction. She likened the province to fertile soil, ready to be nurtured by Sr. Celine’s presence and guidance. As a symbolic act, Sr. Celine was invited to sow seeds into the soil, representing new beginnings, growth, and renewal within the community.

The day concluded with a powerful moment of prayer as the Sisters sang the Magnificat, giving thanks for the blessings of this special visit.
